I'm not sure how old they actually are in the animated series, but I figured Bruce was 30 when he started Batman and Jim was about 45, so, 15 years apart in the past. Then, when Jim is transported he's 55. ...Uhg, math is not my strong suit... he leapt 30 years, so old-Bruce is 70! Phew! So, I guess its a role reversal, they're still 15 years apart, only in the other direction. (And I figure, modern medicine being what it is, Batman being who he is, he's still pretty in-shape for a guy who's 70). ;)

haha, I sort of like to imagine that the Batmug was Jim's little idea of joke. In fact, it might make a fun vignette... :D
