I just can't keep this to myself!

I said I was gonna wait, but here are some crappy scans of three of the rough pages. (The final scans will be tidier).

Old sketches

I've been doing the rough pages and writing for the comic in every moment of my free time, so I haven't had anything to post this past couple of weeks. Here are a few things that I had every intention of working up and finishing someday, before I had the brilliant idea to write and draw my own fanfiction.

Next comic update

So, I've finally gotten started doing the page layouts. I'm already up to page eight and Jim isn't even in the future yet. There will be fewer panels per page this time, so things won't be so tiny. Between 4-8 drawings per page. Its coming together nicely, so I might have the whole beginning dream sequence done for the weekend. If so, I might scan it in and post it. I haven't decided. If I save the whole thing until its completed, no one will see it until Christmas! I might wait until I have the entire comic sketched out, words and all, before posting. At least then I can see how it all works as a whole.
I'm having a blast doing it! I got to draw my first action sequence with Batman and I borrowed heavily from Timm and Dini's comic, "Mad Love".

Update: I've got a lot of actual work to do this weekend, but I'll definitely be able to finish up to page 20-21 of the comic. I'm working on the scene of Jim waking up in the Batcave.

Busy week...

Just doing revisions on my board right now, so I had the morning to fire these off. First, the scene is for Bruce right after Jim disappears, before he wakes out of the dream he's having. (I might change Bruce's pose here. It doesn't silhouette well.) The last is just another study of Jim.

Batman sketches

Writing is hard. I'm not done yet. So, here's a few unrelated sketches.

Best new thing in the world

I love the people I work with and, in particular, people who share my OTP Gordon/Batman. This lovely drawing is by my friend Katrina (Her Deviant Art page addie below)

This fab picture is of her and I bidding on Jim at a Wayne bachelor auction. I am so gonna win!

Next comic -part 7

More filling in of other sequences. I'm going to have to tackle the sequence with the Clock King eventually... I'm just putting it off because I haven't really decided how to do it. The close up shots are going to be the dream to awake transition for Bruce.
